We won the election!

<PDF_Format> we won the election <PDF_Format> white people win again! <nitro2k01> Huh? Are the results final? <nitro2k01> So McCain won? <PDF_Format> no <PDF_Format> obama <PDF_Format> obama is the white man's candidate <PDF_Format> mccain is the OLD man's candidate <nitro2k01> Hahaha
So that’s how it goes. I was fearing that America would vote for a 3rd Bush term (John McSame). Not so. This November 4, the American people voted for a change. This is a historical election. Not only because of the colour of Obama’s skin but because he can be expected to become the most progressive president that America has had for many years.
It’s a landslide victory - if you were hoping for a legal fight over the outcome, you’re hoping in vain. Obama won by a margin of as much as 60 electoral votes. (At the moment 336 votes out of a total 536, and counting)
It’s only appropriate that I embed the Portal ending song “Still Alive” to celebrate this triumph. Except for the killing… Maybe we should imagine McCain singing this song? “Except the ones who are dead. But there’s no sense crying over every mistake. … And you make a neat gun.” Fits the Iraq war perfectly. Yeah.

Apparently some ppl think Obama will restrict U.S gun sales as well:
One less day to purchase firearms and ammo before the Obama nation comes to pass.

That’s excellent. America is a gun frenzy society, and while that has it’s roots not in the gun legislation but a long term mentality going back to the constitutional times, I believe that restricting gun sales is a positive and necessary first step to change that mentality.
